Nestled in the Coast Mountains 2 hours north of Vancouver, Whistler is a truly unique community. Whistler has evolved into a culturally interesting community and is a special place for the adventurous spirits who live here. Whistler’s neighbourhoods are distinct characters in the community, winding their way along the Sea to Sky highway that runs through Whistler.
The Neighbourhood Small Grants program aims to build connections between neighbours in Whistler and create a sense of belonging for all who live here.
In 2019, the Community Foundation of Whistler is partnering with the Vancouver Foundation to offer the Neighbourhood Small Grants program for the first time. In 2019 the Neighbourhood Small Grants program is open to anyone living in the Whistler area, from Blacktusk & Pinecrest to Emerald Estates. The Foundation hopes to expand the program to the Pemberton and Mt. Currie area in 2020.
2019 applications are accepted from February 13th to April 9, 2019. You may apply online or contact the coordinator for a paper application.
