Community Music Heritage Night on July 16th is an evening for people of all cultures to share their musical heritage with their neighbourhood.  

An open mic and stage will be provided for our performers, and free food and drink will be served. Should someone wish to sing a more current song, karaoke equipment will also be provided.  A professional group will also perform some songs relevant to the evening.

This activity will allow the children to explore, play and build friendships while building their gross motor skills. The Vancouver Tumblebus accommodates children of varying abilities, allowing all to participate, regardless of physical and/or developmental disability.

Join on July 8, 2014 in the parking lot by the New Westminster Children's Centre.

August 11 2014
Kitsilano

The Kitsilano Book Club seeks to develop ties among neighbours, expose the multicultural participants to new books and writers, and promote local writers. The readings are eclectic and include both fiction and nonfiction.

This August 11 @ 7 pm we will be presenting "Children of Air India" by Renée Saklikar.

After the meeting, the books will be donated to the neighbourhood street libraries.

Brewery Creek Community Garden, Guelph Park and East Broadway between Prince Edward and St. George

Come join Dude Chilling Art Collective and Broadway East Art Walk to celebrate a day of art and community in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, July 12th from 11 am until 4 pm.

View the works of local artists, enjoy some music and refreshments, and meet your fellow community members.
