We hosted a series of 4 neighbourhood plastics parties to recycle some of the things that can’t be taken in our weekly pick-up.
We invited neighbours to come together and enjoy some food, drinks and conversation whole also getting rid of recyclables all in one place!
We had visitors with everything from a small ‘bag of bags’ to two huge garbage bags full of packing Styrofoam. We swapped stories about the neighbourhood and learned about early Greenpeace founders who lived just around the corner.
