Starting February 23, 2021, Responsive Neighbourhood Small Grants (Responsive NSG) will be accepting project applications from anyone who lives in BC, except those living on Vancouver Island. If you live on Vancouver Island, Responsive NSG will begin accepting applications on March 1, 2021. The grant program will continue to be available to anyone who lives in BC for 2021.

Responsive NSG offers small grants of up to $500 for projects that connect people socially or involve sharing skills or talents with each other. Your projects can take place online or in-person, as long as they stay within your local guidelines for physical distancing.

Who can I contact for questions?

Each NSG community has a unique contact that is listed on the community’s page. For example, if you live within the Nelson NSG community, your contact is Rachel Nissenbaum at the Osprey Community Foundation. You can find Rachel’s contact information on the Nelson NSG community’s page here.

If you are unsure about which NSG community you belong to, you may contact Andrew Kohlgrueber at andrew.kohlgrueber@vancouverfoundation.ca to find out. Please include your residential address in the email so we can let you know sooner.
