Thank you for your support! We held a block party for nearby residents and had over 100 attendees in attendance.
It was a beautiful sunny day with loads of activities and fun for everyone – live music from the band Hillfolk (residents on our block), historical and current information on the city events and activities, a craft station (for kids to make flags, make headbands or ddecorate their bikes), street hockey, hula hoops, chalk art, hosted BBQ from funding and potluck from attendees. Although similar events have been held in our community, even on our street, this was a first for many who attended and we can’t wait to do it again! Thank you so much again for accepting our application!
