Our free event will both inform and feed you whilst learning about the cultural significance of rice dumplings to Chinese culture and having the opportunity to make, wrap and cook dumplings.
The art of rice dumpling making has traditionally been passed down between generations in Chinese families but is now more and more becoming a lost art. Our event seeks to celebrate the multiculturalism of Vancouver through the sharing of this important aspect of Chinese food culture in a fun and hopefully interesting way.
The free event is being held at Chown Memorial and Chinese United Church on Saturday June 10th, 2017 between 1pm and 4pm. Limited to 50 participants. Please RSVP at zongzimaking.gmail.com
