On Monday June 20 at 6 pm the Blair Court Disabled Gardeners are having a ‘Get it in the Ground” work party and can use any help offered as work begins on building an Edible Landscape & Shade Garden.
The Gardeners need help to create a green and hospitable living space by building an efficient garden and amenity space in what is now a barren concrete courtyard. By establishing some proper perennial gardens and a edible landscape with productive vegetable planters people will be able to use this large area to garden and grow food, or to gather together with friends without concern due to lack of shade.
