Once your project is approved for funding, you can list it here on our website so that others can find you. Listings are usually approved within one week by your community coordinator.

On Friday November 11 from 3 – 5 pm we hosted our first Family Games afternoon. Between 40 and 50 people attended – mostly families with elementary aged kids. They played board and card games together and the event was a success. A few parents emailed to thank us for the event and another attendee told me that walking home they realized one of the families was a neighbour and have arranged for the teenage child to babysit!
Granville Island Toy company on Granville at 71st loaned us 11 games to play and the Marpole library loaned us 3 board games from their collection. Several people also brought their own games to share. We also got some decks of cards from the casino, and a book of card games from the library.
Due to the success we are in the process of arranging for events in Jan/Feb/March as the insurance covers 12 monthly events.
