My project is ‘Fun day for all the kids in New West.’ the reason why I planned this event because, I know that many kids in New Westminster especially newcomers and low income can’t afford to go to fun and expensive activities. So, I decided to organize and plan this event for all the kids to have a Fun Day at Moody Park in New Westminster. The people that supported me the last couple of years are: Family Services of Greater Vancouver, New Westminster City, New West Police cruiser, Vancouver Tumblebus (Mobile Fit and Fun bus for kids), Tim Horton’s Community Cruiser, New West Caps Bicycle shop, Tiger Exhibit Band, The HUB (bicycle training), Save-On-Foods (East Columbia Street, New West), Joy Farm Market, Balloon Master, and more children’s activities….
This year there is even more support: G&F Financial Group, Safeway (New West Skytrain Station), Save on Food (Royal City Centre), Starbucks (New West Skytrain Station), Land Mark Cinema), OMAC Taekwondo, Vancouver Whitecaps FC and others!
All New West children are invited!
