Grey is a mixture, a blending of colours. Similarly, we would like to create a blending of community spirit, a mixture of belonging and inclusion to those in our neighbourhood by having a community gathering where we bring a picnic and share music and stories with our neighbours in a way that is welcoming and inclusive of all residents of Strathcona and the areas surrounding Crab Park.
We plan to have live music, and fun activities in an accessible environment. The goal of this event is to increase access to Crab Park and bring together diverse residents to appreciate the Park, the Waterfront and history of the area as a place of gathering.
