We are organizing the painting of a community mural on the wall around the tennis courts at Kaslo Park (Kaslo @ E. 7th). The mural is inspired by Kandinsky’s Squares with Concentric Circles and each participant will have their own square. All ages and abilities are welcome and all events are free. Painting dates are July 25, August 1 and August 3 from 9am-12pm and 3pm-6pm. Snacks will be provided.
We will also be hosting a block party to celebrate the completion of the mural. The block party will be on August 9 from 5-10 pm. The blocky party will be a potluck and we will provide drinks, plates, napkins, etc. as well as some extra food.
