Join us for Car Free Vancouver Days in Kitsilano- June 20 &21!
Instead of having a big street festival like Commercial, Main and Denman streets do, Kitsilano hosts numerous individual block parties throughout Kits on that weekend. These parties are typically intimate block parties for the people on their blocks- people eat, chalk art, play music and games on the street of their blocks and get to know their neighbours.
If anyone in Kits would like to have a block party on their block, they need to get going because the deadline for completed applications is June 8. This year, Whole Foods Market Kitsilano has generously donated block party “goodie bags” for the first 20 block parties approved for the weekend.
