Yesterday, at 2240 Wall Street, we upturned the sod to dry. Today the sod gets trucked to the North Van green waste facility that accepts sod. Next we will spread some beautiful Transform Soil Conditioner compost over the dug area, and we will plant our berries.
We have blueberries, huckleberries, strawberries, and some flower seeds to attract the pollinators. We also have some bush beans to plant on the higher, dryer level.
