The Love Where You Live campaign is a litter reduction program being piloted for the Hillside/Quadra community.
The program goals are to establish a framework for a sustainable year round reduction of litter through a sharing of effort and awareness via community gatherings once a month.
The attendees will be hosted to a continental breakfast (with Gluten free and Vegan considerations) and an opportunity to participate in workshops on different topics providing community input towards the final vision.
Workshop topics may include:

Sharing the message: How to invite awareness and participation
Recognizing and Reporting Hazards; Safety First
Foundations: Litter reduction begins with me
The Love Where You Live campaign recognizes that we are stewards to the environment and must be diligent in behaving responsibly with our waste streams.
Eliminating litter has a positive impact on the environment and improves the experience in our parks and public spaces.
