Marpole Seniors present a day of celebration to showcase the achievements made possible by the Neighbourhood Small Grants. The day begins with a welcoming coffee and refreshments followed by:

Songs and Stories at the reopening of the Marpole Little Free Library from 10:30-11:30

A tour of our Bee House and Herb Garden from 11:30-12:30

Free snacks and information presented by our Eat Wisely Nutrition team from 12:30-1:30 pm

Learn about Poverty and Food security on $10 a day from 1:30-2:30 pm

Enjoy an art exhibition and interviews by our senior watercolour painters from 2:30-3:30 pm

Round out the day with a look at our current Neighbourhood Small Grants in process in honour of Canada’s 150th birthday – knitting with luminous yarn to support the Westside Seniors Hub project “Walk and be seen” and the “Drawing and painting Marpole project”

Refreshments available all day. Drop in or stay all day!
