Our annual block watch parties help build community where we get to know our neighbours and share what is happening in the city . This year we focused on Earthquake preparedness and updating neighbours about the additions to the Green Bins in 2016.
Our neighbourhood continues to change and we pride ourselve in being a welcoming block and introduce ourselves to each other. This has helped to alert each other of potential crime scenarios and neighbours look out for each other. We are now in a position that our neighbours expect and look forward to our Annual Blockwatch Day Picnic. This year it rained so we moved the event indoors !
