I organized a trip for my newcomer neighbours, (mostly families) to take our children to Moody Park Arena to practice ice skating, some of them for the first time! The kids had a wonderful time. The staff at parks and recreation were helping our children, while we parents, sat and had a chat, we talked, among other things, about the Neighbourhood Small Grants!
After we celebrated our outing with pizza.
