Once your project is approved for funding, you can list it here on our website so that others can find you. Listings are usually approved within one week by your community coordinator.

On July 20th, we had a wonderful BBQ on our apartment buildings rooftop patio to create a space for our neighbours to meet and mingle.
We had around 40 attendees join us, which meant all the neighbours we had RSVPed had come plus more. We had name tags for the guests which really helped to create a space where socializing was encouraged and we even found that some people were putting their floor numbers on their tags so they could meet other people from their own floor. We served burgers (veggie, chicken and beef) and also supplied our guests with water, iced tea, and a variety of salads and snacks.
For dessert we served cake and during which one of the members of our strata council was able to give a speech to talk about strata, the volunteers who put on the BBQ and of course the amazing work of the Neighbourhood Small Grant to make the event possible. We look forward to doing more events with the NSG in the future.
