Come out to Tupper Tennis Fest!
Date: Saturday 9 September (2017) (*)
Time: 1-3pm
Where: Tupper Secondary School Tennis Courts
Address: St. George Street, between east 22nd and 23rd Ave.
* weather permitting. This event will be rescheduled if the courts are wet.
Activities:
(1) Beginner group tennis clinics
– appropriate for (1) older kids/teens/adults (8 years and above) and (2) younger children (less than 8 years).
– clinics for both age groups will be offered at 1pm & 2pm (45 minutes).
(2) Racket Demo and Ball Machine
Rackets and Runners will provide a selection of this year’s models of tennis racquets for people to try out (1-3pm). Make sure to bring ID or another racquet to leave with them while you try out the demo racquets.
You can try them on the ball machine available at this event.
(3) Singles and doubles matches
Already play and want match play? Come see us under the tent. Place your name(s) on the list to play doubles (or singles) matches starting at 5pm (after TTF) at the same courts.
Snacks and drinks will be available. This fun event is open to everyone. Please pass on the invitation to your friends and family.
