The Vancouver Forest Nursery is a volunteer-run group of children and parents who meet weekly for hiking and picnicking adventures in Vancouver’s forests, wooded parks, gardens and beaches and is free and open to all.
We are organizing monthly outings at Habitat Island and the wooded paths of Charleson Park to facilitate access to natural settings as fields of play, exploration and stewardship. We invite neighbors with young children (up to age 7) to join us. Activities will include clean ups, free play, sketching, and storytelling among others.
NEXT MEETING:
Wednesday, June 18, 10:45 am at Habitat Island. Look for the yellow tarp.
