We asked documentary film-maker Pia Massie to make a short series of films to show people what Neighbourhood Small Grants are all about. This film shows how small grants for neighbourhood events and projects help to generate a sense of community between residents.
Getting to know and trust our neighbours is vital, and helps create a safe and enjoyable environment for children.
Building community is hard work but fun, and by celebrating together we create community connections with all the people in our lives.
