Idea: Teach a group how to workout at a local gym
The Youth-Neighbourhood Small Grants is a program for youth (ages 12-24) living in Metro Vancouver communities (Burnaby, Langley, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, Surrey/White Rock, and Vancouver). It is a program, designed by youth, run by youth, for youth!
You can apply for a grant up to $500, to share your ideas, gifts and talents with your neighbours, and to help you bring your project idea to life. Once you have applied for a grant and your project has been approved, you do not need to pay the money back.

Open to all youth (ages 12-24) living in Metro Vancouver (Burnaby, Langley, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, Surrey/White Rock, and Vancouver)
For many, this is the first grant people are applying for. Most start off with a general idea of what they want to do but wonder how to put the details down on paper. Or they might be unsure if what they’re doing is allowed. Be sure to read through the Eligibility & FAQs page first before submitting your application. Remember it might be overwhelming to apply but we are here to help you in every step!

Once you’ve decided on your idea, here’s what to expect.
You can ask for a grant of between $50 to $500.
Volunteers from your community review applications as they are submitted. This can take up to two weeks.
Funding will be sent to you via Direct Bank Deposit. Let's do this!
Photos, screen grabs, and other documentation of your project will help to inspire more people like you to get started.
