2nd Annual Apple Harvest Festival
Great success!
Community involvement from local grocer, balloon maker, musicians, montessori, apple farmer/taster, fruit expert
Over 50 people attended!
Great crafts lead by local children and a local business. Volunteer balloon maker was a huge success. Apples were a healthy complement to the apple cake we served! Perfect timing as the weather was sunny, and we had many visitors as well as those who had RSVP’ed.
Big contrast to the year before when there was a hurricane on the day of, and everything was shut down. Lots of growth and interest from local community to participate and stay involved!
Definitely building relationships in this welcoming and family-friendly and fun and casual celebration of autumn!!

Neighbourhood Small Grants

We believe the best people to effect change in a community are the ones within it. And when we can make money less of an issue in doing so, it allows so many more kinds of ideas to shine.
