There are five community gardens in Vancouver’s West End with no contact between them. I was looking for a way to change that and decided to hold an event that would bring them together. We had live music, a seed and seedling exchange and giveaways, raffle prize, refreshments & snacks, and people wandering through the garden plots exchanging information with one another.
