On June 11, we invited our community to participate in an Indigenous Art Market at River Market in Vancouver.
We collaborated with the New West Arts Council and Shop Indigenous to organize this event. Our part as was a storytelling session by Haida Storyteller Kung Jaadee . This was very well received and we were overwhelmed with joy to so many people attending and showing interest. Many children and their caregivers attended and we received a lot of great feedback in the weeks following. The event was even featured on Shaw Multicultural TV.
