There was something special about leaving an unexpected treat and surprising over 130 households this past weekend with a small gift made possible by the Neighborhood Small Grants Program.
We created pretty cone-shaped paper baskets, decorated them, weaved them with ribbon, filled them with fresh cut flowers and hung them at as many doors as we could get to, for our neighbors to enjoy.
Our tussie mussies’s looked precious and when we didn’t get away quick enough, we witnessed the joy and happiness our gift brought to many people.
We hope to continue to bring smiles to our neighborhood faces and to make you feel oh, so special with one small act of kindness.
