This event is called Neighbour Savour, which took place at Heritage Hall on Main St. and 15th Avenue. Neighbour Savour is an annual zero-waste community potluck, and this was our sixth year hosting the event.
The event included lots of food, live music, a seed exchange, children’s activities, innovative food-related projects on the theme of collaboration and food preparation by Emily Carr shop students, and community groups presenting their work.
Approximately 100 people from the community attended. Our event drew on the help of a dozen volunteers.
