Our bee hut in the community garden, which serves to store beekeeping equipment, was urgently in need of a new roof due to leaks. It was becoming difficult to control mold affecting stored hive frames.
But thanks to receiving a Neighbourhood Small Grant and help from volunteer neighbours we removed the old shingle and installed new metal roofing.
Now all is dry and healthy for our bees
