We are a weekly walking group called Scenic Sundays and are a part of the Grand Forks Community Trails Society. Often, new walkers and hikers join our group, and we encourage them to use walking poles for stability, for a full body workout and to ease the stress on knees and hips. We purchased 5 sets of poles to share with individuals joining our walks and to offer a class to our local seniors. There are so many benefits of using walking poles that lead to improved health, reduce strain on your body, prevent injury and are fun! Our class was well attended, and we’re planning a 2nd class in October.
