We brought together a group of 3-5 year olds from Graham Montessori Daycare together with residents from Royal City Manor Long-term Care Home.
The children performed a 45-minute long concert for the residents. They had numerous costume changes and the concert highlighted the kids’ cultural diversity.
These two culturally diverse groups are across the street form each other, but until now, may well have been miles apart. Thanks to this grant, these two groups are now enjoying weekly visits and managers are working on an inter-generational program to develop this relationship on an on-going basis!
