Our event happened 1st of July 2016, celebrating Canada Day together within the neighbourhood area. We had neighbourhood friends and families of mixed culture and mixed generation. We had friends who volunteered to help us go from door to door for flyer invitation. It was successful as we had more people than expected. We served great food that everybody enjoyed. We opened the grounds for all to play and get to know each other. We had a wonderful delectable cake after singing “O Canada” together.
