A group of neighbourhoods on the West side of New Westminster from different backgrounds and ages, gathered together to enjoy a multigenerational bowling game.
Together they all walk through their neighbourhood area down 12th Street, guided by a well known historian- Mary Wilson – that happened to live in the neighbourhood. During their walk she was telling interesting stories of how that street had been transformed over the years. The participants all observed and learned about each of the sidewalk mosaics and quotations en route.
This event brought together neighbours, in a light-hearted, active, non-competitive manner as a one way to make connections, share stories and laughter. The day ended with food and great funny stories to tell that would last for the rest of the year.

Neighbourhood Small Grants
