Did you know that Vancouver is a great place for winter gardening?
With a little planning you can harvest these (and many other!) crops
right out of your garden throughout the colder months:
Beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, collards
kale, leeks, green onions, parsnips, rutabagas, & turnips.
This boulevard bed demonstrates just a few of the foods that are well-suited to our Vancouver winters.
Keep an eye on it and watch how it changes through the seasons.
Thank you for respecting the plants and please refrain from harvesting!
