We had a very successful Kids Telling Story event on Oct. 27, 2019.
There were total 20 kids with their parents attended the event. All kids told a story to participants. They are all great!
We received very positive feedback from participants. They are looking forward to participating next year’s event. Kids enjoyed gathering together and the stories they shared. Parents told us it is great opportunity for their kids to speak in public. It is a good opportunity for kids to practice presenting skills and showing self-confidence.
It has positive impact for our neighbourhood. We got to know each other and made good connections. Kids make new friends. In addition, kids got award (books), they love it and they got new stories from the book.
All in all, we had a great event to connect with each other. We had a really happy and learning time together.
