Our block party was fun! A lot went into the preparations such as canvassing neighbours, making lots of lists and shopping trips, and some phone calls and online work (block closure permit; barricade rental research; firetruck visit application, etc.).
The block party was a hit 🙂 We barbecued hot dogs and invited people to bring something for potluck, if they could. It was wonderful for people to connect, chat, eat, and play. The weather was beautiful and people were happy and engaged. Impromptu games of soccer and musical chairs were played and there were smiles and laughter everywhere. It certainly filled my bucket!
