During our wellness event 8 women joined me for a peaceful and rejuvenating evening. This event was designed specifically for caregivers to unwind, reconnect, and nourish themselves. In this gentle and supportive space, we experienced a calming blend of yoga and journaling that will help us all release stress, reflect, and find balance amidst the demands of caregiving/parenthood.
The evening began with a soothing, restorative yoga session led by a certified instructor. Designed to relieve tension, improve flexibility, and enhance mental clarity, the session focused on deep breathing and mindful movement. No prior yoga experience was necessary, all levels welcome.
Following the yoga practice, we transitioned into a journaling workshop where the women had the opportunity to reflect on their caregiving journey, expressing their thoughts, and set personal intentions. With guided prompts and quiet time to write, they explored their emotions, celebrated their resilience. We ended our evening with snacks and beverage provided from the NSG grant.
This event offered a much-needed opportunity for self-care and connection. It was a chance to reset and prioritize their own health so you can continue giving with compassion and strength.
