We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Neighborhood Small Grants and the Nanaimo Foundation for their generous support. Thanks to the grant funds, we were able to host a memorable year-end dinner event for the residents of the 10, 11, and 15 Buttertubs senior complex.
The evening featured a delicious ham and turkey dinner with all the traditional fixings—a true feast for everyone. In addition, we were able to give away a few raffle prizes, adding even more joy to the occasion.
It was heartwarming to see the residents come together, mingling and sharing wishes for a Happy New Year. Many expressed their happiness and gratitude for the opportunity to connect in such a positive and uplifting environment.
This wonderful gathering was the perfect way to close out 2024, and we are deeply grateful to the Neighborhood Small Grant for making it possible.
