First and foremost, we would like to express our gratitude to the Nan Vancouver-Collingwood Small Grant Foundation for providing financial support, which has enabled us to organize a traditional Chinese opera performance and a community gathering on November 4, 2025, where residents can experience the charm of Chinese traditional opera. This event aims to promote Peking Opera within the community and make this art form more accessible. By doing so, we aim to bring the beauty of Chinese traditional opera to the community and ensure that this cultural heritage is preserved and shared in Vancouver. There are many stories from our journey that we would like to share with everyone. We are passionate about traditional Chinese opera and often gather to perform together. We also seek guidance from professional instructors to improve our singing skills. Our performances in the park have been well-received by audiences from various countries. One memorable instance was when individuals from a special needs institution invited us to perform for their children. We happily accepted the invitation and organized a special performance just for them, which was well-liked by the children. The reactions from foreign visitors were particularly enthusiastic, with some even taking photos to commemorate the event. There are many other touching stories, but we will not delve into them here. Our activities have received support from NSG, and we would like to express our gratitude once again.
