We had our Families Community Event on Nov 8, 2025, at the community center. It is our second year, and it was turning out really well, because the weather was too cold to do it outside in the park. But the kids enjoyed the indoor crafty, art, drawing and games. Everyone came and brought the dishes to share for the potluck. And everyone is happy to do it as an annual event where families can come together and get to know their neighbours, to create a support system that some families may not have. With many new residents to the neighbourhood and even to Canada, this would allow families to develop new relationships and find resources/support amongst the group. Thanks to NSG, who support our event and our neighbours.
