We live in a complex of townhouses and I wanted to bring the community together to enhance our garden.
Thanks to the grant we were able to buy soil and numerous plants to plant in an area that had been damaged by BC Hydro.
During the afternoon of May 4th the residents worked together, digging, planting, cleaning, sharing stories and experience.
After the work was done the workers and many other residents who couldn’t help with the gardening came to enjoy some food around a BBQ.
It was nice to see the kids playing together while the adults were socializing.
A very successful day all round.
