We had an incredible turnout for our event with about 50 kids and their families. We were happy to include neighbours of all ages and had many new neighbours to the area join as well. The kids had an absolute blast finding over 1000 eggs! Our littlest participants enjoyed a special area where they were free to take their time with their egg-finding, and the bigger kids worked especially hard to find the coveted “Golden Eggs”. We also enjoyed that many neighbours stayed and had time to meet others and mingle while kids and families played with some of the toys and games provided. Everyone is hoping to continue to make this an annual event, and we very much appreciate the support of Neighbourhood Small Grants.
