I spent a wonderful morning with families from Langley teaching them about pollinators with a specific focus on bees. With over 600 native bee species in B.C. there was lots to talk about including their connection to native plants! After learning how to tell common pollinators apart we went on a walk through the flower fields on the farm to get more experience identifying and observing pollinators on flowers. Everyone left with their own native plant seeds as well as pollinator guides.
