Shout out to the Community Foundation, Neighbourhood Small Grants Program! Our neighbours were so pleased to gather for a block party and meet many of the new people who moved in over the past couple of years! We invited about three blocks from our “cul de sac” to Lions Park.
We received even more blessings when Save-on-Foods provided us with reduced pricing and the Princeton Royal Canadian Legion helped with our meat order. We cooked up burgers and dogs, served up pop & chips. The turnout was fantastic! We shared stories, about ourselves, the neighbourhood, and played a few games of bocce.
Now that we know each other better, our plan is to host a bocce tournament next year (and the next!). Thanks for an awesome opportunity!
