The goal of this program was to bring youth of nearly the same age together and get to know each other, and in this way they would be able to communicate more with each other and share information. The program started with coffee, tea and sweets. Gradually, the youth gathered and their final population was about 30 people. The first issue raised was global climate change. It was an interesting topic that caught everyone’s attention and started talking about the reasons. The effects of climate change on the world and the environment were disturbing, but it’s gratifying that international institutions are planning to reduce these changes and solve the problems, and it’s hopped that these efforts will bear fruit. Another issue discussed was racial discrimination. It’s true that most people, especially Canadians, don’t care about racial differences and have good relations with all people and all races, but there are still people who follow recial discriminations. At the end, the participants were served sandwiches.
