Free Community Drop in artist meet up events were held at the local library on Wednesday Evenings . Funds were spent on library multipurpose room rental, tea, and some supplies. Artists were asked to bring whatever they were working on, and the supplies required.
The goal was to provide a space where visual artists, and anyone curious about the creative process could come together to explore, express, and work on their art.. Whether they were an experienced artist or just starting to explore all were welcome.
Attendance averaged about 7 to 10 participants at any given session but the attendance changed weekly. Not everyone came each session and some came multiple times. This was well received. All participants gave permission to be photographed and this was advertised through the local arts council and on social media.
