Bark Park Reconnect
Bark Park Reconnect was a community celebration to mark the re-opening of our local off-leash park after safety upgrades. With new fences, gates, and a multi-use path separating cyclists and dogs, it was time to come together and enjoy the renewed space.
We planned a simple, inclusive event with snacks, refreshments, dog treats, and one surprise hit – a fun dog photo booth complete with costumes!
Around 80 people came out, including many who hadn’t planned to attend but stopped to join in. Local businesses provided cookies, raffle prizes, and professional photos that captured the day beautifully.
The event reminded us how parks build connection. With a little planning and a welcoming spirit, we helped neighbors reconnect, laugh, and celebrate a safer, happier Bark Park.
