First, i am so grateful for receiving this NG Grant as i’ve always been a community-minded person & through my 3 bicycle trips ‘around’ North America (50,000km) to prevent bullying & to raise awareness for the importance of a kinder, more compassionate world, i’ve seen that cities & communities are hurting because of a lack of healthy, active communities.
Being a non-techy person, I am so grateful for the help I received putting together my multi-media presentation, plus the amazing help I received from Gordon House & their Team of people the day of & prior to my Event.
A challenging part is reaching people to let them know of this free Event as, again, i lack techy & social media knowledge, & also people are so disconnected from their own hearts & others through the changes over the years from the old days of ‘word of mouth’ & person to person contact to sitting at home or outside on their computers or phones. This is why my Presentation, to me, & other NSG Projects are so important as they bring people together face-to-face in the community.
I’m very grateful for the NSG grant, as it covered my costs of renting the venue, posters, etc. & giving gifts of my books to people who helped & also to others in need of getting back in touch with their heart.
THANK YOU again & loving kindness to all!
Brock Tully
