Caturday in Springer Park was a success! We had anticipated a small crowd, but 50+ humans and 21 cats attended – including Siamese and Burmese, calicos, Bengal and Savannah cats, black cats, tabby cats, a rag doll, a Scottish Fold, and one giant Maine Coon named Thor. We had sponsorship from local business GPF Burnaby, who handed out amazing swag bags filled with cat treats. Best of all, cat owners in the Brentwood neighbourhood got to meet and connect on a warm summer evening in the park.
