I hosted 3 classes of Chinese watercolor for children at Mission family place. The classes are designed for children between 3 years old to 5 years old, it included Chinese culture and painting skills. There are more than 15 children and their caregivers joined the classes. Some of the caregivers painted with their children. It is more like family activities. Mission 4 Kids Family Place helped me to organized the classes, like signed the children up, organized the room, and host the families. With their help, I didn’t face much of challenges, everything goes very well. Everyone got benefit through this project, children had great experience of minority art culture, family place enriched their program, and I get enjoyed the interaction with children and art. This is a very nice of way to bond the families together in the same neighborhood. I would say it was a successful project.
