Community Love Inspire Society hosted on December 21, 2025, a Christmas gift giving & served a plant-based buffet meal to the neighbourhood of South Vancouver @ Sunset Mews building, 1408 E 49th Ave. Vancouver.
We made poster invites & asked for help from our friends, neighbours, & relatives to extend the call.
We were supported & visited by Maita Santiago, the city councillor of Burnaby, who shared & encouraged us on our community outreach.
Our challenge of child care was solved with the help of our Inspire Pathfinder Jaguars scouts, who watched the children at play in the bouncy giant slide.
Everyone enjoyed the food, music, giveaways, friendship, mingling & got excited listening to the upcoming proposed projects of the Orpheus Society with the Odyssey Care Group to launch a housing assistance, designed to foster affordability, sustainability & inclusive urban living in Vancouver’s Collingwood area.
We feel truly grateful for the financial help afforded to us by the Neighbourhood Small Grant. It will be very difficult for us to do this alone. And because we’ve been blessed, we were able to bless many others, too.
